OET TIPTerms of Use
These terms govern your use of OET TIP and this website and form an agreement between you and YOUNGSIC KIM. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 and legally permitted to use the service in your country. Where required, you must have a parent or guardian’s agreement. You may start with a guest/anonymous account or use email, Apple or Google sign-in. Some features require an account or subscription. Keep account information accurate, protect your credentials and do not use or share another person’s account without permission.
You can delete your account in Profile > Account > Delete Account. Data deletion and any remaining records are described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting the app or account does not cancel a subscription.
2. Preparation content and AI estimates
OET TIP offers Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking practice for nurses and doctors. All scores, grades and AI feedback are estimates for study purposes. They may be incomplete or incorrect and are not official OET results. We do not guarantee an exam score, pass, registration, job or immigration outcome.
Clinical scenarios are language-learning exercises, not medical advice or clinical training. Check important information independently and do not rely on the app for patient care.
3. Licence, your submissions and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and its content for lawful personal study. App software, materials, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. Rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
You retain your rights in your practice submissions and authorise us and our service providers to process them as needed to operate the service, store your history and provide AI feedback, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Submit only content you have the right to use. Do not include real patient records, confidential information or another person’s personal data.
Do not copy, resell, redistribute or commercially exploit our content without permission; scrape the service; bypass subscriptions, scoring limits or security controls; interfere with systems; submit unlawful or infringing material; or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it.
4. Purchases, subscriptions and trials
In-app purchases are billed by Apple App Store or Google Play under the store’s terms. The purchase screen shows the price, billing period, included features and any trial conditions before you confirm. We receive subscription status and purchase verification information, not your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through the store before the renewal deadline. For Apple subscriptions, turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled by its stated deadline. Trial eligibility and charges are determined by the offer and store rules. Any price changes are handled with the notices and consent required by the store and applicable law.
On iOS, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions > OET TIP. On Android, open Google Play > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > OET TIP. Follow the cancellation instructions. Access normally continues for the paid period after cancellation. Deleting your account or uninstalling does not stop billing. See Apple’s cancellation guide or Google Play’s cancellation guide.
Use Restore on the app’s subscription screen while signed in to the store account used for purchase. Contact support if access is missing; purchases may also be linked to your original OET TIP account. Do not repurchase solely to restore access.
Refund requests are handled by the store according to its policies and applicable consumer law. Cancellation does not itself request a refund. Statutory refund and consumer rights are unaffected.
5. Privacy, advertising and notifications
Our Privacy Policy explains account data, cloud storage, Gemini scoring, analytics, diagnostics, advertising and your choices. Free users may see AdMob ads subject to applicable consent and tracking permissions. You can manage push notifications and microphone access in device settings.
6. Availability, suspension and liability
We aim to keep the app useful and accurate, but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Features and content may change, and access can be interrupted by maintenance, faults or third-party services. We may restrict or suspend access for abuse, security risks or breach of these terms.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the service or reliance on inaccurate practice content or AI feedback. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or limits your mandatory consumer rights. Store refund rules and applicable law continue to apply if access ends.
7. Content and copyright reports
Report errors or suspected infringement to kimloydmail@gmail.com. Identify the task or material and explain the issue. For copyright complaints, include your contact information, identification of the work and disputed material, your authority to act, a good-faith statement and a statement that your report is accurate, with your signature where required.
8. Apple licence terms
For the iOS app, the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA) also applies. Apple is not responsible for providing OET TIP support.
9. Updates and contact
We may update these terms and will publish the revised effective date. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain acceptance where required. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any subscription through the store. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
